Willpower doesn’t work.
Have you ever try to finish a goal, Read a book, or lose weight
Af first, you have significant momentum, and you take action daily.
But over time, you started to lose willpower.
And eventually, you stop.
And you may even lose any motivation to do it again.
You may start blaming yourself.
However, it’s not my fault.
Studies show our willpower is finite.
That’s why depending on willpower to get the task done is hard.
What you need, instead, is a system that moves you forward…without you even think about it.
Here are few things you can do
1.Build good habits.
Habits are things we do without willpower; once you build a good habit, you can get things done without struggling.
2. Control your environment
Our environment profoundly influences us; if you try to lose weight but put lots of junk food in the refrigerator, it will be hard.
3. Audit your peer group
Your peer group will influence your thinking and habit; surround yourself with people who have similar goals will help you move forward faster.
